Brock is 2!

I tried to take some pictures of Brock for 2 year pictures, but he cooperated for the first 3 pictures then he was done. I don't know why I try to do it myself rather than taking him somewhere. If my good friend Jenn would live here instead of Florida, I would just hire her as my full time photographer. (Hint Hint, Jenn!)

Rock Home Gardens

One Sunday when I had a baby shower, Greg took Brock to Rock Home Gardens. He loved it! Here are a few pictures.

Chriss, Steven, & Brett

We all miss Chriss, Steven & Brett a bunch since they moved to Kansas City. Here are some pictures before they left. We have many great memories of them while they lived here in IL!

6 weeks

It's already happening. The 2nd child "thing." I've not taken nearly as many pictures of Chase so here is when I'm feeling guilty & making myself take some pictures! Brock loves to hold his brother & say "cheese."

My Little Cutie

Chase is such a good baby. I thought Brock was good, but he's even better. I tell everyone I'm nervous about the 3rd child because I can't possibly have 3 good ones in a row, right?! Here he is at 5 weeks.

"Aunt" Leslie

Brock loves his "aunt" Leslie! She came to visit him & of course his new baby brother Chase on Labor Day. She spoiled all of us while she was here, me included! We all love her & can't wait until she comes back!

All Boy

Greg thought it would be great to make sure that Brock likes bugs & locusts & all things boy. Brock wasn't sure what to think, but soon he thought he was very cool!

I know I'm WAY behind since Chase is already 4 months old, but I want to do it in order. Just call it my OCD! He's so cute & tiny!

Brock has adjusted extremely well with Chase. He as had a few moments of needing to be babied~down below, but I've been really impressed with his overall attitude with him.

I wish you could hear him when he talks about "baby Chase." It's so cute! He has a whole different voice for him. Every morning he asks about him. He definitely loves his little brother!

We welcome Chase Braxton into the world!

I was induced on my due date once again. This time they explained why maybe because I asked! Because my babies are small; they want to make sure they will be as strong & healthy as possible. Since they can't guarantee that if they're overdue, they induce me. So I have short, HARD, horrid labors, but I have survived & they're so worth it! :-)


Here's Chase! He was totally different than Brock because I didn't have pain medication except for the last 20 minutes right before he was born so he didn't get any of the side affects. Chase was wide awake for probably 2-3 hours after he was born: while Brock was very sleepy for the first day. He also breastfed extremely well; while Brock was horrible to feed. PTL~that made EVERYTHING so much easier!!

False Labor

Here's how big I was a 5 days ago. I've grown since I think. The first one was right before we left for the hospital & obviously the 2nd was while we were there. As you can tell, I did not think or know I was going home without a baby yet. So 5 days later my baby is still in my belly! Please, Jesus, someday soon would be nice! P.S. I was having contractions 5 minutes apart for about 3 hours so I wasn't just imagining things, but this stubborn little one decided it just wasn't time for the "real" thing!

He loves anything sweet & thinks he's in heaven when I give him the spoon to lick off. He definitely doesn't care how messy he gets!
