Two of Brock's favorite things to do are to talk with his Daddy or Nana on the phone. He'll prance around holding the phone to his ear (neck, actually) & jabber away about anything & everything. He's hilarious! Greg walks around when he's on the phone & I think he's just copying his Daddy!
Brockalso loves to help me clean!! WOOHOO!! I'll keep these pictures as blackmail when he's a teenager! :) He dusts really well for his age too ~ he moves everything & puts it back!! When I'm vacuuming I give him part of the edge sweeper (obviously not attached, but he doesn't know) & he goes to all the corners & edges & "sweeps" them, even takes his hamper out of the corner so he can get to the edge. It's adorable! He'll make a great perfectionist cleaner~we'll just see if it lasts as he grows up to be a man. Boy, wouldn't his wife appreciate it?!!
Over New Year's, (I know I'm way behind!!) we went to Richard & Esther's to hang out with Randy & Jenn. Reece had gotten these boots from Ryan & they matched Brock's shirt so well that we had to take pictures with them. He thought he was a very cool dude! Thanks, Reece, for letting Brock borrow your boots!
Brock's best buddy (while she was here at least! :)) He missed her when she was gone because she spoiled him while she was here. He still loves his toy that she gave him! Thanks, Leslie, you're awesome!!

Hey, everybody! I have no idea what I'm doing with these things, but we'll see what happens. I figured maybe I would be better at keeping people updated with pictures & news of what's happening in our lives. I'll start with an update on how we're all doing now.
We're all doing great! Brock is growing like a weed & getting more independent (& naughty!) everyday. Today he got in trouble too many times to count! He's still sweet & adorable, but oh, such a boy. (Lord, I don't know what to do with a boy!) Girls & their moods I can relate too, :) but boys & their rowdiness, loudness & roughness ~ I just don't know how to handle all the time. God is good & gives me what I need!
Greg is doing great. He's enjoying work at Bear Creek. He will have a new responsibility soon & along with that a pay raise so that's always good! He's also started his own business repairing Maytag wringer washers (Amish people use them). He's just started so he's bought a few to sell & he will have his first repair tomorrow. He's pretty excited about it! I am too because I know he'll enjoy it & it was God that led him to it so I know it'll be good.
I'm doing wonderful because I'm in my second trimester now. I'm not huge & I don't have morning sickness!! Since I have more energy & I'm not as tired either ~ I definitely cannot complain! I just had an appointment yesterday & they said everything looks great. I did have an ultrasound a month ago (no we didn't find out what this baby's sex is :)). Yesterday, they said the baby is measuring small so they're doing another one next month too make sure he/she is growing, but everything else was great!
Mary Kay is going well too. I'm finally getting back to work doing classes & facials again after taking way too many months off doing that. My plans are to earn a car before the baby in August which scares me too pieces, but I know I can do it with God's help! So you can pray that things go well with that!
That's about it for us! Thanks for reading! Love, Karen
I love trying to find out what God wants for me & then doing my best to get it done. I'm enjoying my Mary Kay business because I know that's something I was called to do by Him. I love going to church & realizing how important it is to go expecting to give rather than always trying to receive "something" there. I love being a stay-at-home Mom, but still being able to get out for "girl" time when I need to by being a "business" woman also. I would say it's safe to say that I love my life! Thank you, Jesus!!
